Chet Faker – Gold (Official Music Video)

This is a dope song I came across from a friend. Very chill and soothing. You just can’t hate on good music regardless of the genre. Gold is from Chet Faker’s debut album ‘Built On Glass’. If the song is a preview of the album, the album is worth copping in my book.

J. Cole – “Be Free” (Michael Brown Tribute)

J. Cole releases a deep track titled “Be Free”, This track is dedicated to Michael Brown and to every young black man murdered in America. Understand folks our voices will never be heard if we lay down silently and never speak up.

When in history has an oppressor stopped oppressing/abusing a group of people because they were told by the people peacefully that it was wrong to do? If you want freedom, if you want justice, if you want your right to be treated like a human being, you better stop asking for that sh*t and just take it. They will respect you or at least fear you enough when they know you won’t settle for their antics anymore.
